Some of you probably know the nice rubber cushioning in the 20D (for example). Well, the 300D doesn't have it, so i thought i'd give it a go to make something similar myself.
I started up with a piece of oil clay, and modelled a mold from it. Then i poured the liquid rubber into the mold and set it to dry for a day or so. Turned out pretty well, not counting the fact that i forgot to reverse the mold.
So. Off to make a second mold. This time reversing it. I used some black paint on the liquid rubber until it was black enough. And of course i messed up again. Didn't realise, that the rubber is almost invisible after drying.
After making the THIRD mold, i only applied black paint to the rubber until it was around 15% gray. After drying it up, it appeared perfectly black, as i had planned
Here are some pics of the final version. I might make another one with slight modifications.

Absolutely wonderful landscape photography from ~yonashek

Don't! Don't let it go to your head
Boys like you are a dime a dozen,
Boys like you are a dime a dozen.
She said;
You're a touch overrated,
You're a lush and I hate it
But these grass stains on my knees
They won't mean a thing!
I'll have to keep my eye on you.
